What an awesome Sunday! Wasn't it? On the way to ward conference, we listened to DISNEY! When I listen to it, I get super hyped :) I love it <3
Uncle Joe announced the leaderships of the church and stuff, and we also heard from the Bishop and the Stake President. They talked about the temple and the blessings you get from there. (and we all know that the temple is the most fahhhh-bulous, gorgeous place ever!)
In Sunday School, one of the counselors from the Stake Sunday School sat in our class. Man, our class is ummmm.... interesting. hahahaha. You gotta' love us :)
The Stake YW's presidency came, and they gave an awesome lesson :) They used a wedding cake idea, a cool visual, and explained the individual parts of the 13th article of Faith. (Honest, True, Chaste, Benevolent, etc.) We also got a pretty swag CD. You know that's right. The We Believe CD. Yo' jealous.
Okay, we had a pot-luck dinner thingie after church. Enough said. I didn't care I was eating healthy for Cross Country previously. It was sooooo flippin' good! :) :) :) Delicious. (I was such a fattie...shhhh whatevvs). After that I had a temple interview with Brother Childress. I got the best compliment I had ever received. He said that seeing me and how I acted, he could see I really had it together. He also mentioned (he is a convert btw) that it would have been great to have the gospel and go to the temple and stuff when he was a youth. I don't know about you, but that really meant a lot to me.
